Pink October at the Château
For Pink October, join the association Les Aiguilles Solidaires d'Othis for a day of solidarity sewing at the Château.
A commitment to solidarity
To mark Pink October, a month dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer, the association Les Aiguilles Solidaires d'Othis is calling on all sewing enthusiasts, beginners and experienced alike, to take part in a day of solidarity and creation.
Join us all day on Thursday, October 23 at the Château to take part in a unique collective workshop: making chemotherapy caps from recycled fabrics. The bonnets are donated to patients at the Polyclinique Saint Côme in Compiègne, to provide comfort and support during their treatment.
Whether you've already mastered the basics of sewing or would like to learn, your contribution is invaluable. It's a great opportunity to put your talents at the service of an important cause, to share a convivial moment and to do some good around you.
Why take part?
Offering warmth and comfort to women going through difficult times
Promoting textile recycling and responsible sewing
Meet other designers and create together
Local involvement in a meaningful project
