TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to sales made between Château Jeanne & The Forest (2 Avenue François-Mathet - 60270 GOUVIEUX-CHANTILLY) and the Customer.

Prices are listed inclusive of VAT. A visitor’s tax, as well as any government or local taxes, may be charged as an additional fee and must be paid on site. The amount of the visitor’s tax is subject to change depending on any legal provisions that may be enacted.

The Terms and Conditions for the reserved rate specify the procedures for canceling and/or modifying the reservation.

All reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of an initial deposit, and the balance must be paid before the guest’s arrival, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

FLEXIBLE RATE

• WARRANTY POLICY:

A 50% deposit will be charged at the time of booking. The balance is due upon arrival at the hotel.

• CANCELLATION POLICY:

Free cancellation up to 24 hours (6:00 PM GMT-1:00) before the arrival date. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged as a cancellation fee.

A 50% deposit will be debited at the time of booking via a secure payment link valid for 24 hours that the hotel will send you by e-mail. Without validation of this payment link, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-CANCELLABLE RATE

WARRANTY POLICY:

Full payment is due at the time of booking. To complete payment for your stay, you will receive a link on the day of booking, valid until midnight. Unless you click on this link, payment will not be processed and your reservation will be canceled.

• CANCELLATION POLICY:

In the event of a cancellation or no-show, the amount charged will be retained as a cancellation fee.

No right of withdrawal

‍‍Pursuantto Article L221-28(12) of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of lodging services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Consequently, reservations made with our establishment are not subject to the right of withdrawal.

**Our terms and cancellation policies are subject to change depending on the season (Summer – Winter – Trade Show Periods, etc.)

For any stay booked directly on our website, receive :

- Up to 10% credit based on the total amount of your accommodation. This credit is valid in the hotel restaurant and bars for the duration of your stay.

Offer valid for bookings made now for stays between now and December 31, 2026 (subject to availability).
The amount of the credit is calculated on the total price of the accommodation (excluding extras, taxes and fees).
The credit can only be used during the stay and in the restaurant/bars of the hotel concerned.
Credit is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be carried forward if not used.
Offer not applicable to group bookings (10 rooms or more) and cannot be combined with other promotions.
Certain dates may be subject to restrictions.

PAYMENT TERMS

ONLINE PAYMENT

For reservations made through the Jeanne & The Forest website or through partner platforms, payments can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or via any other digital payment method available at the time of booking (including Apple Pay and Google Pay).

Payment is secured through a dedicated platform.

PAYMENT ON SITE

Payments made directly to Jeanne & The Forest can be made in cash (up to the legal limits), by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), bank transfer, digital payment, vacation checks (ANCV) where applicable, as well as by corporate cards or bank guarantees under corporate contracts.

We do not accept payments by check.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

The Terms and Conditions for the reserved rate specify the procedures for canceling and/or modifying the reservation.

Cancellation by the hotelier

Thereservation contract may be terminated automatically by the hotelier without any obligation to pay damages to the guests in the event of a force majeure situation or if it becomes impossible to operate the hotel. Any deposits paid by the guest will be refunded.

Groups

Anyreservation for more than 5 rooms may be subject to special terms and additional fees.

TERMS OF STAY & LIABILITY

When making a reservation, you will be asked to provide the number of guests—adults and children—staying in the room, as well as each person’s first and last name. Under no circumstances may the number of guests exceed the room’s maximum capacity.

Pets weighing less than 9 kg are welcome. A pet fee must be paid at the time of booking or upon arrival at the hotel.

Room availability:

Upon arrival at the hotel, a pre-authorization will be placed on your card as a security deposit.

Check-in: We will do our best to have your room ready as soon as possible. However, please note that check-in is not available until 3:00 PM.

Check-out: Rooms must be vacated by 12:00 PM. If you plan to check out late, please contact the front desk. Additional fees may apply.

Any additional charges incurred by guests must be paid on the day of departure by credit card or cash at the front desk.

The Guest agrees to respect both private and common areas and will be held liable for any damage caused by them. Furthermore, any behavior contrary to public decency and public order will result in the hotel management asking the Guest to leave the premises without any compensation or refund.

A set of rules and regulations is available at the facility; please review them and follow them.

Claims

Anyrequest regarding a specific type or feature of accommodation is considered a preference and does not constitute a contractual guarantee. It does not entitle the guest to any compensation.

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you have any complaints, please bring them to our attention while you are staying at the hotel. Otherwise, any complaints must be submitted in writing within 10 days.

In the event of a negative response or no response within sixty (60) days of this contact, the customer may contact the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage -CS 30958 75383PARIS cedex 08, whose contact details and procedures are available on the www.mtv.travel website.

LEGAL AND REGULATORY TAXES

Any changes to or introduction of new statutory (VAT) or regulatory taxes imposed by the relevant authorities will automatically be reflected in the prices listed on the invoice date. In fact, rates may be subject to various taxes depending on the city or country and are subject to change.

Information ‍‍

The listed prices do not include the visitor’s tax, which must be paid on site. The visitor’s tax is subject to change based on economic conditions and regulatory provisions that may result in price fluctuations, such as changes to the applicable VAT rate, the introduction of new taxes, etc.
