Two days to discover Japanese-style plant elegance

Le Château de Jeanne & The Forest offers you a rare and poetic moment: an immersion in the ancestral art of NIWAKI, or the Japanese art of shrub pruning, through a practical and sensory workshop.

Over the course of a weekend, learn to sculpt plants with precision, respect and aesthetic appeal, guided by an experienced instructor.

Whether you're a garden enthusiast, a Zen art lover or simply curious to discover a new way of interacting with nature, this workshop is an invitation to slow down and create consciously.

On the program:

A supervised introduction to shrub pruning in the NIWAKI tradition

Provision of professional equipment (Japanese cutting tools) for the duration of the workshop

A shrub provided for each trainee, which can be pruned during the workshop and then taken home.

Niwaki literally means "garden tree". This age-old Japanese practice involves structuring shrubs to reveal their inner beauty, accompanying them in a form that is both natural and stylized.

Conditions: Participation in the workshop is exclusively reserved for guests staying at the Château on Friday June 27, Saturday June 28 or Sunday June 29.
